I’ve been taking my 2020 XC60 to the dealership since I bought it, just figured it was the safe route while it was under warranty and I didn’t want to risk anything with all the electronics these cars have packed into them. But now that the warranty period is over I’m really starting to question whether the premium I’m paying is actually worth it, I mean the last routine service set me back nearly 2500 dirhams and all they really did was an oil change and a bunch of visual checks that I could honestly do myself. I’ve been thinking about switching to a good independent specialist that actually knows Volvos because I don’t want to just take it to any random garage that treats it like a Nissan when it comes to the software side of things. I was looking around online earlier and found www.exoticautoservices.ae/volvo-service-center-abu-dhabi/ which seems to focus specifically on these cars, has anyone here actually used them for a major service or had any electrical work done there? I’m a bit nervous about making the switch but my wallet is definitely feeling the pain of sticking with the dealer every single time, just want to hear some real experiences before I make the jump.
