I have been wanting to go on vacation to some warm country for quite some time now and I decided to choose Thailand, or rather Phuket. I am arriving at Phuket International Airport and I need to get to my hotel somehow. Did you book a transfer from the airport to the hotel somewhere in advance or did you use a local taxi?

How far is the hotel from the airport? I always try to choose hotels not too far from the airport, because I'm always afraid that at some point I might miss my flight. I also vacationed in Phuket a month ago and I ordered an airport transfer Thailand on the GetTransfer website. I usually book transfers right after I buy round-trip plane tickets. I just indicate my arrival time at the airport and then a driver meets me and takes me to the hotel, it's very convenient. Do you usually use a local taxi when you travel to get from the airport to the city?
