DB9 hesitation between gears when it's hot, is the gearbox on its way out or just fluid?

I've had my 2009 DB9 for about three years now and it's mostly been a dream aside from the usual electrical quirks that you just learn to live with but lately I've noticed something that's got me a little nervous when I'm sitting in traffic on Salam Street in the afternoon. The shifts are smooth as butter when the car is cold first thing in the morning but after about twenty minutes of stop and go when everything is heat soaked the upshifts from second to third have this slight delay like it's thinking about it a bit too long and sometimes there's a tiny clunk when I come to a stop. I checked the fluid level myself because I'm fairly handy but those Touchtronic boxes are sealed tighter than Fort Knox and I don't want to make things worse by guessing. I was scrolling through alzaabiautocare's website trying to get a sense of whether I'm looking at a simple fluid flush or something more catastrophic and they list themselves as Aston Martin transmission gearbox repair specialists which at least gives me a little confidence they've seen this before but I'm really hoping someone on here can tell me that a fluid change sorted their issues right out. I've heard horror stories about needing a full gearbox rebuild on these and frankly I'm not emotionally ready for that kind of conversation with my bank account just yet. Anyone else nursed a similar issue with the Sportshift or Touchtronic 2 around here?
