In the mid-70's through the early 90's, Dungeon and Dragons and similar Fantasy Role Playing Games (FRPG) were all the rage. They ultimately came not only in the form of fantasy settings, but also sci fi, horror, and ever Mad Max like games (Car Wars). Who else in here played besides me (I even wrote for a gaming company for a while) played and what did you play?

Old-school TTRPGs definitely had a revival period during covid, and have made there way somehow into mainstream culture. I've played some more modern one myself (D&D 5e, Monster of the Week, Blades in the Dark, Dungeon World, Heart: The City Beneath, and some others).

I live fairly close to Lake Geneva (where Gary Gygax lived when he first invented D&D), and they have a new D&D museum there that has a lot of his old stuff!
